Acupuncture

Acupuncture has a unique ability to directly access your vital-force energy.

As a modality that utilizes the body’s energy system to create a state of balance and healing, acupuncture helps access your multifaceted expression as a human being so true healing takes place.

It activates systems in your physical and energetic body so they reach a state of homeostasis – balance – allowing you to heal not only your physical body, but heal the parts of you beyond the physical expression of an ailment.

IThis ancient form of healing has been practiced for over five thousand years, utilized by a full quarter of the world’s population as a primary source of healthcare.

Acupuncture traditionally involves the insertion of very fine needles at certain points on the body where energy flows.

For clients who want the same benefits as acupuncture without the needles, I also use high grade Essential Oil on acupuncture points to bring about a similar profound effect.

Some body systems that acupuncture is known to balance and restore to health are digestive, respiratory, excretory, cardiovascular, circulatory, renal and urinary, endocrine, nervous, integumentary, exocrine, lymphatic, reproductive and immune.

Cupping

Just as life doesn’t sustain in stagnant water, our bodies struggle to stay healthy when our blood and lymph fluid isn’t flowing freely.

The practice of cupping goes back thousands of years from Asia, spreading through the Middle East and Europe and finally making its way to America. (You may have noticed a contemporary reference to cupping in the 2016 winter Olympics when swimmer, Michael Phelps, swore by the method as critical helping to increase his swimming capacity.)

The technique known as “cupping” uses small cups as suction devices on the surface of the body. The suction works on a deep tissue level to clear blockages and encourage energy and lymph flow and to release toxins stored in the different layers of the body.

Commonly used for respiratory and pain conditions, current research has shown that cupping helps with serious internal conditions, such as hepatitis.

However, I use cupping for less serious conditions as well, such as general muscle tension, to bring about a state of easy relaxation.

Essential Oils

The use of pure essential oils is a concentrated dose of tender-loving-care from Mother Earth. The beneficial essence of a botanical is taken and concentrated into a healing powerhouse.

It produces a maximum healing potential by having an immediate olfactory impact with a strong effect on uplifting your mood. The unique biochemical makeup of each botanical readily enters the circulatory system and balances the energy flow within the body.

Although immediately effective upon inhalation, Essential Oils can be used as a botanical option to using acupuncture needles as well.
